This is Coach Matt’s third year at Evangel Christian Academy. Coach Matt is originally from England where he grew up playing soccer, representing his school and county as well as being selected to play in a professional academy with Darlington FC.

After finishing high school coach Matt continued his education at Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds, England earning a bachelor's in Sports Development. After college coach, Matt moved to the US and started a career as a Soccer Director. He has continued to run soccer clubs for the last ten years in Louisiana and is currently one of the coaching directors with CABOSA/Shreveport United.

Coach Matt is married to Ashley, who also works for CABOSA, and their daughter Anna is in 3rd grade at Evangel and loves playing soccer.
