Dear Evangel Christian Academy Family,

Welcome to the 2010-11 school year.  By coming to Evangel, you have chosen a school that not only excels in academics, athletics, and arts, but also in Spirit.

Academically, Evangel is a SACS-accredited school that received the 2009 College Readiness Award for having a significant increase in our ACT composite scores over the past five years.  Only 29 schools in all of Louisiana were chosen to achieve this award, and we are especially proud because this feat indicates that our students are college ready.

Evangel continues to move forward in bringing cutting-edge technology, combined with superior instruction, to our classrooms. We look forward to repeating our 2010 Northwestern Louisiana High School Literary Rally 1^st place Division III Sweepstakes, along with increasing our number of state champions.

Our athletic program continues to prove its excellence in training and execution, winning 12 state football championships, 3 state baseball championships, 2 state softball championships, and a 2^nd place in Division III wrestling.

Evangel also has an excellent drama program.  This past year Evangel had 1^st and 2^nd place individual winners in the Louisiana State Drama Festival.

Finally, at Evangel, no one walks alone.  It is my joy to reaffirm to you that from the front doors, your child will be loved, supported, and encouraged.  Their success, achievement, and dreams are our mission. We give God all the glory for our school’s many accomplishments and believe it is the Spirit of God moving on our campus and in the lives of our students that produces excellence.
