Synopsis of Treasure Island

     This classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson consists of one exciting scene after another.  Young Jim Hawkins and his mother find among the possessions of the pirate who died in their house a map to where a huge treasure is buried.  They narrowly escape from a gang of pirates who raids the house in search of this map.  Later, Jim sails with a captain commissioned by a businessman and a doctor to search for the treasure on a remote island in the South Seas.  The crew of this ship are really pirates, however, and they seize control of the ship so they can go after the treasure themselves.  You’ll be amazed at the things Jim finds himself doing to thwart the pirates’ plans.  In addition, you’ll never forget the characters Ben Gunn and Long John Silver.  Ho! Ho! Ho!
