Indicators of Education Excellence
Annual Literary Rally - Each year Evangel high school students participate in the Louisiana Literary Rally. In 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009 & 2010 Evangel students won the first place sweepstakes in Division III, outperforming all other schools in Northwest Louisiana. In the past three years, at least ten Evangel students have placed at the statewide Literary Rally level, with
multiple students winning first place in the state.
Iowa Tests and LEAP Scores - On the standardized Iowa tests, Evangel students scored 10 to 20 percent above the statewide public school norm, with many students working one to two year above grade level.
