Mr. Dean is a native of Colfax, Louisiana.  Having graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Master of Science degree in Health and Physical Education, he also attended Centenary College receiving his Certification in Education Administration and Supervision.

Mr. Dean has been an active duty serviceman who retired from the United States Army Reserve in July 2005.

He has been a social studies teacher and coach in both middle school and high school.  He was an Assistant Principal in three Bossier City schools and was appointed Principal of Bossier High School in 2001, where he served for five years.

Mr. Dean became a part of the Evangel family, last year, as a student counselor for
7th-10th grades.  His concern for the education of students, extensive experience, and devotion to God has made him the perfect choice during this time of transition.

Mr. Dean and his wife, Stephana, have been blessed with two children, Virginia and Robert.
